DESTINATION CRENSHAW X BLACK ARROW PARTNERSHIP
SHARE THIS POST
This is bigger than a collab—it’s a commitment.
Soccer shouldn’t just pass through our city. It should uplift our people.
Destination Crenshaw and Black Arrow FC are partnering to use the game of soccer as a tool to drive meaningful impact across the Crenshaw community—ensuring that the global game is represented in the Crenshaw District and that Crenshaw is represented in the global game.
This is more than a collaboration — it’s a long-term commitment.
Together, we’ll be developing community events, youth programs, creative projects, and business initiatives—all designed to convert global momentum into local empowerment.
Destination Crenshaw is a cultural and community development initiative building a legacy along Crenshaw Boulevard and beyond—rooted in celebrating Black Los Angeles through economic investment, public art, and storytelling. Black Arrow FC is a creative agency and media platform that operates at the intersection of soccer and Black culture, focused on amplifying stories, expanding access, and using the game to create opportunity.
Destination Crenshaw and Black Arrow FC’s missions align through a shared belief in the power of culture and community. Both organizations are committed to creating platforms for expression, connection, and economic advancement—and this partnership brings those goals together in a new, focused way.
This effort is built around a shared understanding: with the FIFA World Cup arriving in Los Angeles in 2026 and the Olympics following in 2028, we have a time-sensitive opportunity to ensure that global attention leads to real, lasting benefits for communities like the Crenshaw Community.
Meanwhile, the broader soccer world is beginning to address its long-standing access issues— particularly around the pay-to-play model that has excluded so many. This partnership aims to offer a community-centered response—built on inclusion, equity, and long-term impact.
What’s Next?
As we develop our long-term strategy and plan, we’ll be launching our first joint initiative—a project designed to bring people together, create opportunity, and demonstrate the potential of what’s possible when soccer and culture are activated through community.
If you’re interested in learning more, getting involved, or supporting this work, we welcome the connection.
This is just the beginning—and we look forward to building it together.
